Trying to connect the battery on BE750G. Connector is VERY STIFF and no slack on cable - it's at right angles to what I need to do! Trying to turn it to slide onto terminal but it just won't turn! Directions are no help, as they only show very sketchy diagram with no details. What am I doing wrong? This isn't our first APC UPS by any means, but it's the most trouble I've ever had connecting a battery.

Hi Jans, is there anyway you can take a picture an post it here? if the connectors are new they can be stiff but still should allow the battery terminal to slip in. The easiest way to connect the battery is to have the unit on its side and the battery standing (the tall way) and connect the terminal down into the battery). Hope this helps.
