BE750G Estimated battery time -- min
I have an BE750G that needed a new battery.
So, because it was easier to get, I replaced it with a 3rd party battery like one I had used in another BE750G and Personal Edition 3.1.0, freshly reinstalled, on Windows 10, current updates, reported <1 min battery remaining.
I figured it was a bad battery. I got a genuine certified APC battery. Put it in. Same problem.
I tried to use the Manual Calibration procedure. No Joy.
I swapped the UPS with another I had on a different system, also with a replaced battery but PCPE was happy with, and it works fine in this system. So, not a computer problem.
I but the "bad" UPS on the other system, and got the same result, except now it says -- min, instead of <1 min.
The UPS does actually seem to work properly. It's only the UPS reporting that seems to be the problem.
I did try Business Edition but it appears that it won't work with the BE750G , although nothing in the APC help info comes right out and says so. When I install it, it finds the BE750G during installation but when I start up the program, it says USB communication lost and there seems to be nothing to do to fix that.
