I have several APC ups's around the house protecting PC's and network equipment (routers, nas drives, etc).
I purchased a 2nd BX1000G for use on a home theater system (TV, amp, cable box, etc). I have read the new TV's don't like momentary power inturruptions..
Anyway.. The BX1000g, has provisions for phone line protection as wall as coax. I assumed I could connect the cable TV signal in to this, and then the out would go to the cable box..
When I do this, I have problems with picture & sound quality. The picture get pixelated, and the audio cuts in and out very quickly and is more severe when watching hi-def presentations.
I believe this connection is severely limiting the incoming signal.
I found no documentation stating the attenuation or the frequency range it can handle. Can someone provide this information or a link?
