BACK UPS XS 1000 keeps switching from online to battery with single beep

Thought it was the battery, but I replaced the batteries and it's still doing the same thing, with or without a load. There's a buzzing and then it switches to amber battery light for a couple of seconds and then back to green online light. It was doing this intermittently and then increasingly more often for the past day or so, until it just kept beeping on battery yesterday. So I replaced the batteries this morning and it seems to be doing the same. Although right now it's just every maybe 30 secs that it's switching from online to battery and beeps once. Yesterday when we turned it off and unplugged it was beeping four times and doing it constantly.

What Is The Exact Model Number Of The Ups And Try Lowering The Sensitivity In Powerchute

I agree with what Wwallender, let us try adjusting the sensitivity of the UPS. Do you have PowerChute Personal Edition installed on a computer? It would be easier to use this to adjust the settings.
