Ativa 516-015 failure just out of warranty
I have a Ativa UPS 516-015 that failed less than 3 weeks out of the 2 year warranty.
I think it is completely unreasonable to take a hard line with no consideration for a hard failure
(not the battery, but failed showing "overload" when it had been running with very little load)
Now fails to "Overload" even with no load.
Office Depot has refused to give any consideration.
Does APC provide any warranty support for these units?
It reports itself to Windows as a apc-back-ups-xs 1200.
I have never had an APC unit fail before the battery, and never under warranty.
I would not think that APC builds the unit to lower specifications then their branded units.
If this is the norm, it makes me question staying with APC units.
(I noticed another person posted the same type of failure just recently.)
