I got a SurgeArrest but its specs arent compatible with Powerline, unlike some that are, I want to know if someone tried to see if Powerline can work on them or not. The problem is that these surge protectors reduce noise that powerline uses.

It might help to specify what Powerline is... obviously SurgeArrest works on a powerline, but I think you're talking about a communication-over-powerlines product of some sort.
I've used SonicAlert products on SurgeArrests without a problem. I have a friend who found that just plugging a UPS into his wall outlet prevented his x10 devices from working due to capacitive coupling. Personally, while I've been tempted by Insteon, I try to stay away from power line communication products in favor of RF solutions because the power lines aren't really intended for communication.
