I've been searching the forum and a few other sites for this issue and have come across many similar, but none exactly the same.
In our office we have Back-UPS 750's that power most workstations. The one in our reception area has recently started giving us issues. It has three items plugged into it: (1) Dell Optiplex 390 tower, (1) Dell monitor, and (1) Dell 1110 Printer.
Everything seems to work just fine, UNTIL you print something. As soon as you hit print, the UPS starts a constant beep, and continues for around 10 seconds. I moved the backup to another location in the building and attempted to replicate the issue with similar components (different printer and different monitor, both Dell), and could not do so. While this seems like it would point to faulty wiring in the outlet, it has been hooked up in the same location for quite a while and has given us no problem until now.
Any help on this would be appreciated. The sticker on the bottom reads "BE750G" and "3B1221X17009"
Thanks,
Brennan

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, it's a laser printer, and yes, it was plugged into the unit. I have seen on other forums where laser printers don't play well with these things... Is this most likely one of those cases?

What kind of printer are you using? laser, inkjet?
I would not go as far as to say you have faulty wiring. It may be that the inrush of the printer being used might be causing an overload on the circuit the UPS is plugged into. I haven't really seen this before unless the printer was being powered by the UPS though. Is the printer plugged into the UPS?
