About every hour switch to battery and back

Our newest UPS, a Smart-UPS 2200, shows a lot of log-entries (around every! hour):

04/03/2024 08:00:21 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode.
04/03/2024 08:00:17 Device UPS: No longer on battery power.
04/03/2024 08:00:14 Device UPS: On battery power in response to unknown.
04/03/2024 08:00:14 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage.
04/03/2024 08:00:13 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode.
04/03/2024 08:00:08 Device UPS: No longer on battery power.
04/03/2024 08:00:07 Device UPS: On battery power in response to unknown.
04/03/2024 08:00:06 Device UPS: No longer on battery power.
04/03/2024 08:00:04 Device UPS: On battery power in response to unknown.
04/03/2024 08:00:04 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage.
04/03/2024 07:11:47 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode.

What is going on here? What means "in response to unknown"?

The status shows no unusual figures (there is only a low power consumption):

Based on the information provided here it appears your site is experiencing power quality issues (dirty power).

Provide the logs that show the input / output voltage, frequency.

The system will engage the AVR circuit to boost / buck the output (voltage) power when ever possible. If the input voltage / frequency is above / below the defined threshold the system will engage the inverter to battery only mode.

Both AVR and when battery only mode is defined by the (power setting’s configuration) quality setting and transfer voltage threshold.

The sensitivity options are normal, reduced, low. The output upper limit spans 127 - 136 VAC the output lower limit spans 97 - 106 VAC.

Adjusting the above settings / values impacts how often the batteries are engaged and called to duty which results in battery service life. This also defines how clean the input power is for the connected loads! ☝️

Lastly, nobody can see the image you loaded. Please use a different image format and confirm its viewable.

To potentially solve the prblem, I tried to update the firmware. But now, I'm unable to contact the Web-Gui or via Telnet due to a problem during update.

Initial problem not solved
