which are specific applications that need the AVR (automatic voltage regulation) feature of the UPS? and when is it better to use a UPS that provides this feature?
Thanks

This means that if the voltage in my application is too high, then I can use a SmartTrim UPS to decrease the voltage, and if the voltage in my application is too low, then I use a SmartBoost feature of UPS to increase the voltage?
When I need a voltage in between a certain range, and if it is not in the range, than I use an UPS with the AVR feature.? Thanks,E

Our smartups has the AVR boost and trim feature. The AVR will try to regulate for any power quality problems.
AVR protects your computer or equipment from damage and loss of data by monitoring incoming electricity smothing out high and low voltage conditions, ensuring delivery of only safe, “clean” electricity. A wide range of errant line voltage levels such as brownouts, surges, or spikes are converted by AVR into safe electricity for your computer.
**SmartBoost or AVR Boost is when the UPS uses the internal transformer to increase input voltage which may be too low.
**SmartTrim or AVR Trim is when the UPS uses the internal transformer to decrease input voltage which may be too high.
