Hi to all, I've a question about a battery replacement I buy in Amazon to T.R. Computerizer LTD store.
I buy to this store a battery replacement to my BR1500GR with 4 years old. The unit is the model APCRBC124 and the question is that when I open the box (original APC box with the logo) when I catch the APCRBC124 I see that it hasn't any Sticker warranty on the contacts (see the attached jpg, please), and the contacts are in the air and free to touch...
I remember when I buy the APC Back ups Pro BR1500GR, the battery cartridge has got a shield (perhaps an sticker) with the word warranty or security and remove before to put inside the Back ups pro.
The question is: How I know if the battery is new, or is the battery replacement is an used unit?
Thanks in advance!!!
Pablo

Hi Pablo,
The battery has a 1yr warranty from the date of purchase or from the serial number. The serial number on the left white sticker indicates the battery was manufactured in the 23rd week of 2017. I would recommend you retain the Proof of Purchase in case the battery needs replacement within the next year.
