I had a power outage - after which, the APC XS 1300 would not power on.
I have replaced the batteries, now when I hold down the power button - the unit beeps as long as it's held down. It does not power on. (Everything has been disconnected, tried on different power outlets, checked the breaker, removed the batteries - waited an hour and tried again.)
I have bought a new unit (same one - xs1300) would like to get the old one working again, any suggestions?
Thanks,
John

Tested the battery - it's showing 24.5 volts (My meter is out of calibration... show -1.2 when not connected... old meter)
Pressed the reset button.
Checked all of the connection - they are OK.

Do you happen to own a meter for testing the voltage of the new battery?
It should be at least 25.2v...... or more
Try pressing the RESET button.
Are you sure you inserted the battery pack correctly?
