Hi all,
So basically I've always used an UPS for my home computer. About a decade ago in my area we had constant blackouts so I did my research and purchased a small UPS. As time went by and had more equipment, I bought a different UPS, this one from APC.
Long story short, I have a APC UPS ES 700, has been working great for years. Due to Covid, I had to leave for a few months and when I returned the UPS started doing weird noises. I figured it's because the battery died so I replaced it. Installed the new battery and it continues to make a constant beep and no power is supplied to the outlets, the LED briefly turns green and then turns off. The battery is charged and the board capacitors look visually fine. Tried to plug the UPS in a different outlet, no change.
I've added a video with the behavior. https://vimeo.com/user90541285/review/480209573/5892e6b4f5
Anyone has encountered the same problem? Is there any chance to recover from this?
