Hello,
I bought a BE550G 1 year ago, and now it no longer seems to be working (it was up to last month). There are no symptoms (the green light is on and steady), but when the power goes out (or I pull the plug from the wall), it beeps 4 times as expected, but the computer, or any device I plug into any of the battery protected sockets, turns off.
I checked that the battery is still correctly connected internally.
Any ideas on what would cause the UPS to behave perfectly normal, and report normal battery when unplugged, yet nothing can stay on when the power goes off?
Thanks.

Well with the extensive testing, it does sound like a replacement UPS is required. Not sure what would cause that type of thing.
But..you're in luck. If we do an RMA for you, we'll send the replacement first so you can use the old one for powering your equipment while you wait for the new one. Then just package the old one in the box the new one comes in and ship it back per whatever instructions to receive.

So I'd like to do an RMA then. How do I go about that?

Did you recently disconnect and reconnect everything? You said you verified you are plugging into Battery Back Up + Surge outlets, correct? Versus just surge only - because it sounds like they are connected to surge only which happens once in a while
What types of devices have you connected and tried on the battery back up outlets? So we can basically rule out it is not one particular devices acting like this while connected to the UPS.
That is a strange one though. Regardless, if it is a UPS problem, it'd be under warranty if it is only a year old.
