Hello, i'm new to APC products and want to ask regarding APC Smart-UPS 2200VA which i bought recently as refurbished item.

Generally it works without issues but i want to make it more calm due to i'm using it inside the apartments where my family live. The problem is ups using old relay method to switch transformer's coil so it make some noise. i tried to get idea when switching taking place and found that it starting to regulate voltage at minimum of 210 Volt and maximum 230 Volt, and between of this range it works without clicking (relay noise). So i wondering if it possible to extend this range let say to 200 - 250 Volt and keep it running longer without switching coils. My load may tolerate such voltages it is not a problem.

I know that it has powerChute software for easy mange http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/PowerChute-Personal-Edition-V3-0-2-for-Windows-10-8-7-Vista-X...

but i still not tried it because i dont have lan-usb cable. Will get it soon already ordered.

BTW. i'm using external battery pack 4x12Volt (100 A/h each) (North Star NSB 100FT). Do i need to calibrate UPS to works with these batteries ?
