Hello everyone,
Does SMC series UPS have any kind of short circuit protection on the output side?
Example 1.
There is power from the grid to the ups and there is a short on the output between Live wire and Ground wire.
What is the expected behavior?
Example 2.
There is no power from the grid but there is ground.
The UPS is on battery mode.
There is a short on the output between Live wire and Ground wire.
What is the expected behavior?

The UPS has an overload circuit breaker, so if there is a short, the circuit breaker will trip, cutting off output to the load when on AC or battery.
