Hi All and anyone who can help
I have a APC Smart-ups SC 1500, -been working for years been fantastic, but the other week had it got a battery fault, so bought some new batteries for it. powered it down, swapped the batteries, APC Batteries!. Now when i power it up the online led flashes and then it goes to on Battery mode. I've changed power cable I've tried cold restart. I've connected old batteries and it does exactly the same.
Can anyone help

If the brain dead procedure is outlined in the provided FAQ below, there is a slight chance that the UPS is faulty.
