APC PRO 7T_ Can a 120V SurgeArrest work @ 127/220 V in Saudi Arabia
Dear Friends,
I have to travel to middle east quite often now, The Standard Voltage in Saudi Arabia is 127/220 @ 50/60Hz, some says it's 110/220V, not sure though
I was able to buy a new APC SurgeArrest Pro 7T from a local vendor here in saudi ( can't trust) to protect my new HP laptop, I Didn't had much Knowledge about this
The Surge Arrest states it has a input voltage of 120V @ 50/60 Hz
My Question is can it work in Saudi, where the standard Voltage is 127/220 V, and not 120V as stated on the Surge Arrest
I'm bit confused about this, Can the 120V Surge Arrest work efficiently and protect my Laptop @ 127/220V in Saudi Arabia

It works at 127V, but it can't work at 220V. If you plug it on a 220V outlet, the varistors inside the unit will get fried. In Saudi Arabia you can find 230V APC Surge Protectors, at least the APC Saudi Arabian site shows different models of surge protectors.
