APC CS650 Back-UPS 60sek time with old and with new battery

Hello,
I have APC Back-UPS CS650 with new battery.
I have Synology DS211+ and DS210j servers (low 25wat usage) plugged in and connected via USB to one of them to control UPS behaviour.
I see that battery time is estimated for *60sec !!!*
With old battery the time was also 60 sec.
I have plugged in APC Back-UPS CS500 and its estimated battery time is over 2500sec (thats what it should be, or higher).
When I have plugged lamp with 40w lightbulb and router, CS650 worked on battery for *1,5h* until battery run off.
What can be wrong ?
Please help.

P.

I have done this twice:

1. Charged for 24hrs - 100%
2. Plugged in Lamp with 40w lightbulb and router (old airport express UFO)
3. started UPS without AC/DC power cable plugged in.
4. Waited for discharge (it took twice the same time: over 1,5hrs)

Still info shows 60sek.

What can be wrong ?

Take care,
P.

Good day Przemys?aw,

Have you tried doing a manual runtime calibration? If not, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Battery must be at 100% capacity when the Runtime Calibration is initiated/started.
2. The UPS must have at least a 30% load on it during the calibration.
3. The load cannot fluctuate more than +/- 5% during the calibration.
4. The battery must be discharged to at least 25% capacity (it is best to allow the UPS to shut off due to a discharged battery).

In addition to the abovce conditions, any UPS monitoring/shutdown software should be stopped from running in the background, and the serial cable should be detached from the UPS. This is necessary in order to prevent the software from shutting down the server/UPS due to an on-battery or low-battery condition.
