Hi everyone,
I received an old unit as a gift from a friend who bought it in 2011 and never used it.
It won't charge and the batteries are most definitely no good. They do charge but they don't hold a charge for long. I can remove the batteries from the unit after being plugged in overnight and watch the voltage drop a few volts every minute according to my multimeter.
I've also come to find that replacing the batteries will do no good because my unit was manufactured with a bad charge circuit board, according to the manufacturing/inspection date (9/18/2011).
I'm pretty sure it is out of warranty.
my question though is will the unit still provide AVR for equipment attached to it? That's my main reason for using the unit. I don't really need the back up battery feature.
