APC Back-UPS RS 1000 making high pitch noise
My UPS, every 5 seconds, makes a high pitched sound when it is in On Line mode, which only disappears when the UPS is turned off, or charging the battery. It doesn't matter if the load is connected or not, at all times it makes that sound. I already try to recalibrate the battery, disconnect it and press the power button for 10 seconds, change the sensitivity in PowerChute, press the reset button, change the batteries, but the sound did not disappear. My initial suspicion was that it could be the transformer, so I verified the operation of the AVR, and with 208v in the line, the UPS did not correct it, and delivered 208v anyway; Is this related to high frequency sound? The model is: BR1000I and my region is 220V / 50hz
