Hi, I have a Ubiquiti Dream Wall that I’m currently using my Back-UPS Pro Gaming APC as my battery backup solution for, which is quiet a distance from my computer, so using the ethernet to usb cable in conjunction with powerchute to monitor the apc is kinda out of the question. Can I just use a standard rj45 patch cable to run from the backups pro gaming to my ubiquiti dream wall and use UniFi to manage my apc? Or if not, is there any such solution in which I could with this setup???
Thanks for any help or info!

Your choices are to use an active USB cable or powered hub. To allow you to extend the distance for the USB cable.
You can do the same thing by using a Ethernet to USB media converter. As it relates to the RJ45 port that is for surge protection it has no network capability.
