Hi guys,
I would like to ask you about the APC Back UPS ES 700. I think it doesn't work properly. First of all, when I launch the PowerChute Personal Edition, I go to Current Status, and the normal would be to show on the bottom, the current power (for example 350W). To be honest, it shows the red line and the current power for 1-2 Seconds and then shows nothing. Also, the "Self-Test" button isn't shown. Is that normal?
But the biggest problem, is this: I am using this ups for a month. I connect on this, the phone line(DSL Line) everything were well until tioday. The DSL led on the router flashes all the time. That means that the DSL Interface is down again and again. I tried to connect the router directly to the wall outlet(without passing through the UPS) and it stopped flashing.
Do you have any suggestions about these?
Thank you and sorry for my english.

Model: Back-UPS ES 700 (BE700-GR)
Firmware revision: 829.D3 .I
Software version: PowerChute Personal Edition 2.1.1
Operating System: Windows 7 64bit
I connect the UPS on a USB port directly. Not on a hub. Also I don't any error messages from the PowerChute.
I tried to find a 64bit version of PowerChute but nothing.. So, I thought that it works fine on x64 machine. Do you think, that this is the problem?

Hi,
What is the exact model # on your UPS? What is your PowerChute version (can be found in the interface and also through the "technical info" tab), and your operating system? Are you using any kind of USB hub when connecting the UPS communication cable to your computer? Are you getting any "communication lost" messages from PowerChute?
