Hi everyone, would be grateful for your advice,
I've been using a new APC BX750MI since last November and everything was fine so far.
Unfortunately, yesterday a sudden and long power outage occured at home while I was away.
However, when the power was restored the next morning, my APC would not start.
Once it is plugged, it starts making long beeps every 4 seconds (not 4 beeps every 30 seconds, but makes about 10 long beeps per 30 seconds throught short even time intervals) and flashes green (makes a long green flash as long as the beep). Please see the video attached.
According to the manual long beeps every 4 seconds indicate over-temperature, however, the UPS has been turned off for the whole night and I unplugged all the devices to facilitate charging. What is more, in case of over-temperature no flashing should occur.
Any idea what the problem might be?

Install APC Power Chute Personal Edition (PCPE) software on a computer system. Once installed connect the UPS to the computer via the USB cable.
Call out what the active faults / errors are declared by the system. The unit is still under APC Warranty as such I would encourage you to submit a service request with APC Technical Support.
You’ll need the purchase receipt, UPS Serial number for the unit. Let us know how everything turns out with the RMA process and what they did to resolve the issue. 👍
