Why APC BX625CI-MS is classified as a "not user replaceable battery type of UPS"?
The battery came with the UPS is CBS GP1272 F2, its size is same as other 12v 7Ah lead acid battery, and the battery is easily accessible by opening a cover which is fixed by a screw.

Just replaced the battery, the only tool needed is a screw driver to open the battery compartment cover.

Any unit that requires the electronics to be exposed when replacing the battery will be listed as not user replaceable.
Even if the unit its unplugged and the battery is dead there is still a risk that components will be holding a charge which can be dangerous.

I don't think APC BX625CI-MS is classified as a "not user replaceable battery type of UPS" because of the reason you stated.
The battery is kept inside an individual compartment, which has a small cover fixed to the main body of the UPS by a screw. When the small cover is removed only the battery and 2 connectors can be accessed, other electronic parts are kept in another compartment which can be accessed only by complete opening the case.
I would assume that APC BX625CI-MS is a low end UPS, the price is affordable by most people, APC classifies it as a "not user replaceable battery type of UPS" so the people will buy a new one instead of replacing the dead battery.

In the APC RBC to UPS V2.pdf file.
The BX625CI-MS shows an APC RBC110 as a replacement.

Yes that is the correct battery replacement.
Sorry, I should have been more clear, there is a difference between "non-replaceable" and "not user replaceable".
Non-replaceable mean that battery can't be replaced.
Not user-replaceable means that we recommend that battery is replaced by trained personal.
