Hey all
I can't connect brand new APC with my PC. I did check the USB port, it's working with other products.
Plz check attachment, for error.
Running Win7
Downloaded: PCPEInstaller (PowerChute Personal Edition v3.0.2).
any advice for this kind a issues?

I had old APC removed, got new edition ...must be issues with old drivers or something.

Hi,
The error indicate the software cannot communicate with the UPS. If you are connecting through a USB hub you should connect directly to the UPS. You can check the connection to the UPS using a freeware application usbdeview.exe or usbview.exe. You should look in device manager (in the control panel) to see if the proper driver is loaded. Look to see if under batteries there is an entry for HID UPS Battery or APC UPS and under Human Interface Devices there is an entry for American Power Conversion USB UPS.
