I have a APC back UPS 650 IN working perfectly since last week.
Last sunday when I am working on the desktop, it shutdown suddenly without any notifications or alarms.
Now.
1. When I switched on the UPS with the mains ON , it's LED indication shows green for a moment than turns to amber flashing with no power output.
2. If I switched on the UPS without mains ON (no cord connected to main power), UPS switched on with green LED indication and proper power output.
3. POWERCHUTE doesn't shows any abnormalities with the UPS however unable to run the self test by the application , getting error"unable to finish the self test, please try later"
Could someone please advise what the issue with the UPS and sugeestions.
Thanks
Happy

Hello Happy,
A flashing Amber LED is only present on the UPS while performing a Selftest of the internal battery. The fact that you are also receiving a message in the PCPE software"unable to finish the self test, please try later" would lead me to believe their may be an actual issue with the UPS's Inverter curcuit or the unit's firmware. I would recommend you contact your local Schneider Electric call center for continued support.
