How would I configure APC 5000 to auto power-off and power-on BladeCenter H?
Especially for VMware vSPhere 5.0
Any specific configuration on each BladeServers & VCenter server?

yes i believe thats the case. there is no way i know of to do this without the network management card. generally units 5000VA and above will ship with an included network management card. you might want to check on the back of your UPS and see if you see a network jack on there with a model listed as AP9619 or AP9631 to see if you have the network management card installed.

it looks like you'd need to ensure you have a network management card and powerchute network shutdown for any v-sphere support.

it means that without the management card, what i'm trying to achieve won't happen?
does this device comes with the UPS or need to be bought separately?
