APC 500 for recording studio
Hello,
My name is Alex, I'M new here but have a question I need help with. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
I have a small recording studio, in an Industrial outlet, and am beginning to realise the mains power supply isn't ideal for audio recording. However, I do own an APC 500 which I've never paid proper attention to, until now.
Is it possible to use this as a way of cleaning and regulating my power in the studio?
A friend of mine seems to thing this can be used, If I take all my power from this box.
Alex.

Good day!
Just like what JonPro said, there is a limit to what a UPS can handle and in your Back-UPS CS 500's case its 300 Watt/ 500 VA, you can check the rest of the technical specs of the unit at
And the Back-UPS were mainly designed for Home PCs and Desktops, you may want to look at APC's Audio/ Video Product line.

It would be best if you could provide the exact model number of the UPS, this would help us see how many watts and VA it can support. If you are going to use it with computer load, it should work fine if it is sized up properly.

Good day Alex,
I would like to know if that APC 500 is a UPS or a different APC product? Our Smart-UPS product line offers much more power conditioning than our BackUPS. Also in the United States, we do have a product line that caters for audio visual products.

Hello Jon,
It's the back up one. Mainly for computers I think.
Alex.
