After upgrading my AP9630 with the NMC Firmware Update Utility the card stopped responding to snmp and showing "The Application Was Not Able to Load" when trying to access the web interface.
To fix it I tried to connect to the console and update it using Tera Term.
apc_hw05_bootmon_109 gets uploaded successfully
apc_hw05_aos_718 gets uploaded successfully
apc_hw05_sumx_718 fails with Invalid Signature
When that failed I tried to log in with SFTP, but it is both the login I had before trying to upgrade and also the default login
This is the one I am trying to put onto it

I got it working again!
I had to lower the baud rate all the way down to 2400 for the transfer to succeed successfully. When uploading at the default rate it stalled after just a few seconds and at 9600 baud it stalled after about 10 minutes.

It is in a Smart-UPS X 3000 (ID1003)
I have tried FTP and it is refusing connection to port 21.

You verified that FTP is enabled on the NMC?!? I ask because depending upon what NMC firmware was on the unit FTP was not enabled by (default) as it is now in later firmware. 🤦♂️
If FTP is confirmed as enabled you may consider formatting the card.
