9AH replacement battery for BR800?

I am looking for a replacement (non-APC) battery for my 7yr old BR800BLK. I have used BatterySharks before, and found their batteries to last just as long as the original APC battery, but I notice that they sell the 7.5AH batteries for the BR800, BR1000G, and even the BR1300G. That isn't right. The higher power units need a battery with higher AH rating.
Well anyway, I found a set of batteries at Newegg.com for the BR800-FR. That's the unit made for France, and it 220V. But I don't see any reason I cannot use that 9AH battery set in my BR800 (USA 115V model). I should get more life on battery power from the higher rated battery, and although it may take a bit longer to charge the higher capacity battery, I can't think of a reason it would do any damage to either the UPS or the battery. My BR800 is way out of warranty anyway, so that's not a concern.

Unless anyone can think of a reason I should not get the 9AH battery set, I am going to purchase it at Newegg for $29.25. Only thing I am not happy with is that they charge $16.00 shipping. BatterySharks charged only $9.30 for shipping my last battery set in 2013. But it's still a lot cheaper than buying the APC battery, and even moreso than buying a new UPS (BR1000G).

Generally speaking, you can use the larger capacity batteries. (If your BR800 UPS is loaded to much more than 50-65% of its capacity rating, you should consider that the inverter and output transformer are passively cooled in the BR800. Extending the unit's runtime  under heavy load may cause overheating and failure of components in the inverter.)

The BR1300G model uses a 7.2 amp-hour battery in its factory provided cartridge.

I don't think you'll find much if any difference between generic batteries of the same form factor with different capacity ratings. It's cheaper for the actual manufacturer to make one battery and print on it whatever the distributor requests.

You might wish to confirm that the battery connector in a UPS intended for the French market is identical to that of a US market UPS, although I don't expect that would be a big deal. You could always rebuild your existing pack with the batteries from the French market part. Perhaps more important are the topics of warranty and battery freshness. Genuine APC  replacement batteries come with a warranty. I don't know if they would honor the warranty on a French-specification battery pack in the US. You should always buy the freshest batteries you can. Someone might have been sitting on the ones offered by Newegg  for a long period of time, and they may be worn from excessive (more than six months) time in storage.
