how many computers can be connected to 1kv ups ? computers with 18.5" LED ?monitors?

It depends on the UPS. You'd want to look at the wattage the UPS can support beyond just the VA and compare it to the wattage ratings on your equipment. It also depends on how much runtime you are looking for on battery to determine if a 1kVA UPS is adequate.

The UPS selector is a good start on getting a ballpark on ratings of popular equipment to assist you in sizing a UPS -> UPS Selector - Select your protection needs
