we cant assume every customer knows how to troubleshoot these situations - hope you understand

No, it is a new unit. purchased directly from APC. I did try to seat the module, but no luck, I check the MIMs for bent pins... I tried all the bays, still. I think I shall place a warranty claim with APC.
