We have a new sua3000xl that has the bottom row of outlets not operational. We tried resetting with the white button to the right of the row, and that didn't solve the issue. We will likely seek and RMA, but I wanted to see if there is anything else to try.

Thank you for your prompt reply. We followed your steps and opened the backplate. We found an unseated Molex connector going to the 3rd row reset breaker. Fixing that resolved the issue.

I believe the Power Distribution (PDU) backplates can be swapped on this unit. If I were you, I'd fully power down the unit and remove its battery and essentially "braindead" the unit. Braindeading is when you unplug the UPS from AC power and then hold down the (o) off button and wait till you hear the UPS click and/or flash its front panel's LEDs. I'd then just remove the battery to be safe.
Once you do that, you can remove the screws on the PDU backplate where the outlets are and they should have arrows pointing to the ones you remove. When you take the backplate off, check all the molex connectors to see if one is loose or disconnected which could cause the row of outlets not to work. This is worth a check before you go through an RMA process.
FYI, we have a video knowledge base on how to do this -> http://www.schneider-electric.us/support/index?page=content&country=US〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156589
And just in case anyone else sees this, these backplates are only designed to be removed/replaced by the user and thus there are safety precautions in place to prevent shocks or hazards. This cannot be done on all Smart-UPS or UPSs in general so before proceeding, double check for your model. The specific model SKU SUA3000XL has removable backplates and is safe to proceed on.

Had a similar thing just happen to one of mine.
Did the whole move the load, power off, unplug battery, and unplug from wall. Then drain flea/residual power.
THEN I traced the molex connectors for the row circuit breakers.
The first and second row were swapped, hence resetting row 1's physical switch didn't reset row 1 as expected when it tripped.
All perfect now, so just another thing for people to check is that each circuit breaker goes to their intended, respective, rows of plugs.
Christine.
