shutdown host unsuccessful for the host on the vCenter environment

Hi Teams,

I deployed PowerChute™ Network Shutdown v4.4.1 on our Vmware cluster, configured it according to the user guide, but when I tested PCNS did not shut down either the host or the VM, it shows the following message: shutdown host unsuccessful for the host.

What was entered in the error log when the shutdown failed?

PowerChute cannot connect to the host due to credentials error.

You need to follow the direction as noted in the User's Guide to create an account PowerChute will use to communicate with the host or view the videos attached to Schneider Electric FAQ FA413356 https://www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA413356/
