What firmware version would you recommend for (discontinued) AP7856? Can I use "apc_hw02_aos390_rpdu374.exe"?
Where can I download Release Notes for old firmware (for example, for "apc_hw02_aos373_rpdu373.exe")?

Yes, you can use apc_hw02_aos390_rpdu374.exe with AP7856.
As for older release notes, if they are not on our website where you download firmware (sometimes a few revisions are posted), someone has to retrieve them for you either here or though tech support channels. If you want old release notes, please list all versions you want release notes for so they can be gathered at the same time.
