Hello! I reviewed all of the manuals and searched through the knowledge base and forum posts, and have not found what I am looking for - the best practices steps when adding an XR unit to a live SY16K. I am terrified of ruining the batteries in the master frame and/or XR, or otherwise ruining the equipment! I am hopeful that one of the Symmetra gurus in this forum will be able to help me : ) I suppose I am looking for confirmation of what I am guessing would be the proper method with regard to the state of the master frame when connecting the XR unit's DC cable - bypass mode, or total shutdown, other? I know the steps from that point re: not adding the batteries until connected and communicating, etc.... I just want to know what is required for the master frame during the process, so I do not cause battery or other equipment issues. Thank you in advance for your help with this matter! rg

UPDATE: I successfully connected the XR to the master frame - first putting the master frame into bypass mode, and then taking the master frame out of bypass mode after I connected the power cable. I followed the prescribed procedures for the remainder of the setup, and all is well.
