using powerchute 3 and the only two runtime options appear to be:
1. to shutdown the computer when it is on battery after 1-5 minutes. or
2. shutdown computer when battery runtime is 5-8 minutes.
This is a poorly phrased or bad option. If the runtime is only 8 minutes and I want to leave it on as long as possible, it seems like I can't select the option that says "keep on as long as possible" as that option only goes down to 5 minutes. What if I want 2 minutes etc? As is, I'd get 3 minutes of runtime and then it would shutdown it would seem. Is there a spot to edit that manually.
I might assume that if I select the other option "preserve battery power" and select shutdown after 5 minutes of battery use, that the battery would actually run the whole 5 minutes vs 3 in the other method.

Hi Max,
If you are using a Microsoft Based Operating System, you can take a look at the Native UPS software that comes with it and see if that suits your need. Unfortunately when it comes to our software, those values are the default. I think I have encountered a thread before wherein the customer made some changes on their registry. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you are not familiar with registries for it can cause unwanted issues such as corruption of the Operating System.
