hi all
im trying to log onto our powerchute appliance via ssh and i cannot figure which login details im meant to be using...
ive got the default apc/apc details and the UNIX root password that it asks you to set when you deploy the ovf file... neither of these work while trying to log into ssh or the web portal for powerchute network shutdown via https://xx.xx.xx.xx:5480
im completely baffled by which login details im meant to be using... can anybody point me in the right direction where i can find these details?
edit: i should also add that im trying to update from v4.1 to v4.2 via ssh... hence why im trying to figure out the login details
let me know if you need any more information.
thanks!

Hi,
To log into the VM using ssh you should the default user of root and the password is the root password. If the password is not know then you will need to uninstall the VM are reinstall it unless another user was created that has root privileges.
In the example below I used Putty to access a PowerChute VM
The PowerChute files are stored i /opt/APC/PowerChute/group1
