apc smart-ups 900i calibration

I have an old apc smart-ups 900i, it's a 2nd generation ups. I need some help on using hyperterminal, the unit input is 230v, but it shows only 118v in the hyperterminal. It seems that the firmware or something is configured in 110v instead of 230v. I must have mess-up on the hyperterminal, I just dont remember. Thanks for the help.

I was in hyperterminal, i was trying to change the "u" which is the upper transfer voltage to 264v.. i press "+" then after that the unit restarted and it can't go on battery mode during initialization or self-test, i found out the "B" which is the battery voltage went to "000.0" so i changed it to 24, self-test is already ok but i can't changed back the "u" to it's original value. reading of "u" is already 118v, and it cant go further than that.

Why do you think it is like this? I am using fluke true-rms tester, the output of the UPS is 218 but in the hyperterminal it reads 115V.. My friend said that the firmware is 115V, which should be 230V in the first place.

it probably is an issue with the firmware if you know that you went into hyperterminal and adjusted settings, then logged out, and noticed the change.

what exactly did you do before and after noticing this so we can track where the issue is?
