all my links to powerchute bad/ need to download powerchute for Win. 7, 64 bit APC smart SMT1500

I'm all confused.  I guess I didn't set up powerchute on this computer and all my web links to where I'd go to set up everything are not good.

I have APC smart  SMT1500, and just need powerchute download, I think. I've completely forgotten how to then get to webportal for me.

The IP address doesn't work anymore for me.

I'm completely at a loss, starting over completely.

And I can't log in to the APC main site where I registered.  My email they don't recognize so I can't reset my password, and get to my registered APC smart  SMT1500.

I'm not having a good day.

Thanks for your help and guidance.

OK, Edit----

I do have Powerchute on this computer, I updated it.  But the wizard didn't come up to configure at the webportal and all the links I have don't work.  Did the links/ IP change?

The portal I show it should be is 6547  with my PC name before it.  I've tried this IP address http://127.0.0.1    that doesn't work wiht or without the port #.

Thanks so much for the detailed information.
I did the command prompt sequence, and it showed stopped. but when I tried to start it said denied.  I am logged in as admin, which is myself.
I think I'll have to uninstall and reinstall.
Business Powerchute business edition,   installed.
-----
So I uninstalled and reinstalled.  And that worked.  My links sort of work, and gets me where to I can make settings.
I also installed the Console, but I'm thinking you also have to have the server setup to use the console, cause I couldn't log in with my user name I just made.
But at least I can get to the website now and check and make settings so I will have the shutdown when we have a power outage, which we do often here.

Hi,

Launch a web browser on the system running PowerChute and enter https://127.0.0.1:6547 You should be able to log into the PowerChute Agent.

Hi Bill,

I've tried that, but it doesn't work.

I've gone to the program list and clicked on the Agent Web Interface, but that doesn't work either.

I do have PowerChute installed, I updated it.

I used to be able to get there from that IP address.

I'm wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall at this point.

I've tried from Chrome and I.E.

Hi,

Do you have PowerChute Business Edition or PowerChute Network Shutdown installed?

If you have PowerChute Business Edition installed open a command prompt as an administrator and enter SC query apcpbeagent. If the query returns that APCPBEAgent State Stopped enter SC start apcpbeagent to start the service and then log in.

If you have PowerChute Network Shutdown installed open a command prompt as an administrator and enter SC query pcns1. If the query returns that PCNS1 State Stopped enter SC start pcns1 to start the service and then log in.

If in ether case if the system responds that the server does not exist then you should run the installer to install / update the PowerChute.
