We operate a data-center and fiber transport/Co0Lo facility here in Evansville Indiana. We upgraded to a Symmetra PY80 from a pair of MGE Comets about 4 years ago. We are now outgrowing the PY80. We have been looking at the Galaxy PW-150/180 product. Back when we were looking at the PY80, there was LOTS of engineering data readily available, as well as systems/features comparisons of products across the lines. Now the website seems cryptic and links to resources described/discussed in the forums are all broken.
We liked the modularity/upgradeability of the Symmetra PY-series, as we started at 50kW and have added modules and batteries to the point we are maxing out, the information on the Galaxy suggests we won't have that ability.
Can someone give me clarity?

Hi David,
Bill made me aware of your situation as I manage the relationships with many of the colocation and managed service providers in the eastern US. Matter of fact I sat down with Tom Kolb of your firm a couple years ago
Yes I am a sales person but I get your comment loud and clear that you are not looking to purchase new equipment just seeking information on Schneider gear
I am teamed with a systems engineer who could answer any and all of your questions
I assure you that no attempt will be made to sell you anything, we are here to assist.
I understand Bill is doing his job but from my perspective I really don't need the SN of your current unit unless we really get into the weeds on this
Please contact me at tim.shackelford@schneider-electric.com or call 314-570-6370 and we can get your questions answered
Thanks

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Would you mind sharing the serial number of the Symmetra? Once I have that information I will look up your account and will be able to have the proper person contact you to assist you with your research.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience with the site.

We aren't buying new from a dealer, is that relevant to discussion?

Hi,
Yes. It is relevant to help me assist you. I can point you to the web but you have already said you don't care for that approach. If I have your account information I can look up to see who is assigned to you and they will help with the needed research saving you time.

I don't mind sharing the SN as much as I don't want a sales person selling/talking to me, I want an engineer sharing system architecture and operating characteristics. We are not looking to engage your sales for a new system, and if this forum is just a bridge to that resource then I have made a mistake... Bad information from "sales engineers" can be a resume changing experience when something goes wrong...

Hi,
You would work with a team of people that yes include sales but also systems architects, and systems integrators. They will review what equipment you now have and ask questions about what you anticipate for the near, long term future, and review your infrastructure. A recommendation would be made only after a through review.
