Hi I just bought a Smart-UPS SC420I (http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SC420i) from an online retailer's outlet section and I didn't notice it was 230V. I'm in the US and I can't use the 230v plugs and the UPS won't stay on when plugged in. I would appreciate any suggestions on getting this thing to work because I can't return it. Thanks!!

Hi XiP,
APC doesn't support the use of that unit in North America. Normally we would suggest returning the unit to the retailer for either a refund or swapping for the correct unit.
Is the retailer refusing to accept the return? If so what is the reason they are giving and where did you purchase it from?
Thanks.
