Hi! I have PCNS Software installed on my SURT10kva. I also enabled the Power On after Power Fails via BIOS settings.
We've encountered 3 hours brownout, and when power resumes, UPS failed to Power On automatically. Is it because, battery get drained after 3 hours brownout, since it is a double conversion online UPS. or there's something wrong on the configuration we've made?
Thanks!
cmg

PCNS is not installed on the UPS - it is installed on the server(s) attached to the UPS for power. what you should have in your UPS that holds a configuration is the network management card. That is where the network connection to your UPS goes and that is what talks with the PCNS software.
you'd want to log in to the network address of your network management card - AP9619 or AP9631 most likely and obtain the event.txt, data.txt and config.ini so we can start there. also, in your PCNS installed on your server, you'd want to see what you can see in that event log.
here are some instructions on getting the log from the network management card - http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9321
