UPS doesnot powered up after the power returned

Hi All,

i have Smart-UPS 2200 with firmware 654.19.I. as i know, when i unplug the power from the ups, it will send shutdown signal to servers to shutdown normally or the powerchute servers is configured to shutdown when the ups is working on battery. But what i want to know is how the servers powered on again automatically as the power is returned to ups.Although the servers is configured from the BIOS setting to power on on AC power fail. But how the servers powered on again if ups still provide power to them and servers need to sense power change to power on again. so, what is the solution in this case????

i solved part of this problem by making the servers send shutdown command to ups to cut the power from outlets .so, when the power is returned to ups, ups doesnot turned on automatically again until i turned it on manually then the servers powered on because of sensing power change at the outlet. what is the idea in that???and how to make ups power on automatically at power return????

02/25/2012 12:53:31 UPS: The output power is now turned on.
02/25/2012 12:50:33 UPS: The output power is turned off.
02/25/2012 12:50:28 UPS: Started a reboot process.
02/25/2012 12:46:25 UPS: A graceful shutdown process is being used to shut down the load equipment before the UPS turns off. Initiated by PowerChute ns from 10.1.1.1.
02/25/2012 12:46:14 UPS: On battery power in response to an input power problem.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure I understand your question. Is your concern that the equipment or UPS is not turning on after the power is returned? or is this happening and you don't want it to happen?
