Hi Team,
I would like to ask for your support and expertise regarding on one of the UPS that I have. I am encountering a back feed relay fault for several times already from SMAR-UPS X 3000.
Do we have some workaround on this?
I am attaching the logs for your review.
Thank you in advance.

Based on the serial number this hardware is no longer covered by the standard APC warranty.
As such I’m hesitant to suggest a UPS Firmware Update. 🤦♂️
All the relevant information for updating the firmware can be found using this APC Resource Link:
https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA164737/
Regardless, the latest v15.X UPS firmware incorporates a few updates relating to power quality and sensitivity:
Once the hardware has been updated adjust the power quality, sensitivity, and transfer voltages.
NOTE: It’s very apparent this issue has been persistent for a very long time. As such the internal relays will be quite worn / damaged due to the endless open / close cycles.
The company / you should budget for a replacement unit in the near term. As the unit will fail declaring a relay weld error. Resulting in a drop load situation when you least expect it!
