Needing assistance with an upgrade I most likely should not have done. I have a UPS/UPS Network Management Card 2, from 2013 which is still running strong. However recently upgraded the firmware on the UPS Network Management Card 2, and now I'm getting 'No UPS Found'. As expected UPS is not available, and from the LED, says its running firmware 08.3.
I did go through and read if a downgrade is supported/recommended, and of course not. As such any assistance on how I can upgrade my UPS firmware, to match the Network Management Card version, or the reverse that would be ideal. Thank you!

I found this link very helpful. It was just what I was looking for the other day. My question is, how did you find it? I was unable to find any of the SUMX firmware files via the AP9630 download page. Is there some other way to find firmware updates for APC devices? How would one know if knew releases are available, if they don't show up on the product's firmware page?

Hey Bill, no worries thank you for replying back!
I downloaded the executable as recommended, and attempted to upgrade the network card via the IPv4 address, and username/password using both FTP/SCP. However unfortunately I get the same errors using both methods. I do not see anything in the web gui about enabling SCP/FTP, however I do see port 21 is open/listening.
SCP/FTP:

Follow up to this, I did end up getting this to update via the executable, the FTP service was not functioning, and also was logging in the the username 'device/apc'. This account by default does not have access to manage the remote network management card, and as such needed to use 'apc/apc'. Once I did this, I could log into the management card, enable SSH, on port 22, and reboot the card to enable this setting.
Once rebooted, I was able to upgrade the card successfully without the errors seen. I want to thank you for your time, as it was helpful to get the correct firmware/executable to upgrade!

The ID-18 firmware is either at v9.3 or v 9.4 and the file I found them in is called "FirmwareUpdateImages v4.1.zip". Finding it on the APC is almost a crap shoot because the website seems to be not so user friendly.
