UPS: Bypass not in range ; high voltage
Hi All,
I got this error over the weekend "UPS: Bypass not in range ; high voltage." on a Smart-UPS RT 3000 XL can anyone answer me these questions in order of preference
Can anyone clairfy what exactly happens on the error is the UPS merely just filtering the voltage and not using the battery as battery percentage didnt go down (230 was still on the output so I assume this is true)
If the alert was set to 255 and when I was looking at the status page it was set to 252v input and somtimes 253, could it be that the voltage was going up and I was missing it ? (logging is set to note every 10 minutes)
What kind of damage does regular 250+ voltage do to the ups's ?
