Hello,
I already have written about our problem here: Referenced content removed
So, sorry for the double post, But I think the question is more suitable in the software section, I guess.
So, here is the problem in short: We'd like to tell the UPS to shut itself down when the computer is being shut down.
Reson for this: If the power goes out and the computer is already turned off, the UPS empties its battery for no reason (as the computer and its monitor is the only thing being protected) which might happen every night if the user turns the computer off manually.
I mean, the computer can tell the UPS to shut down after the computer is being shut down beause of a low battery event. Why can't the computer tell the UPS to shut down on a manual shutdown?
Thanks in advance!
