Hi,
I have some smart UPS 5000 devices and I'm trying to get the configs consistent across them all. I've downloaded the config.ini files from each and edited them to match on all of the non-device specific settings. When I upload the edited file and apply it to the device it logs this error:
System: Configuration file warning: Invalid value on line 339.
Line 339 is:
RatedOutputVoltage=230
There was no need for me to edit this line as it's the default. As a test I downloaded an unedited config.ini file from an untouched device and was able to generate the same error be simply uploading the same file back to the device.
Is this error safe to ignore or, better still, is there something I can do to fix it?
Thanks,
Steven

Thanks Szabi,
That makes sense. Unfortunately these devices are in service so I can't turn the output power off to do the test you suggest.
Steven.

Hi Steven,
For On-Line Smart-UPS models like the SURT or SRT 5kVA, the UPS output voltage setting can only be changed if the UPS output voltage is turned off. Trying to change the value in the Power Setting Configuration in the web interface while the UPS output is on also results in an error message, so it may be that the system can't apply the setting from the config.ini file even if it's the same value. Can you check if you receive the same error for the same line if trying to upload it to a device that has the output power turned off?
Thank you,
Szabi
