Symmetra error code?

our summetra array is flashing '02' then 'e7' repeatedly. the '02' indicates the frame, but what does the 'e7' indicate and how do i stop it? status shows 16 good and 0 bad batteries. by all indications, the array is functioning normally.

any thots would be appreciated. 🙂

ok, i've since discovered that the 'e7' code "may indicate that the communication cable is not installed". but the cable IS installed...and has been for some time. the logical next step seems to be to replace the cable...but i don't have a spare handy.

so i'm no closer to resolution and would still be appreciative of any advice.

E07 indicates a loss of external communications between the main UPS and the XR frame. Three things could potentially be the issue, bad cable, bad SYCC card or bad Main Intelligence module. If you have tried reseating the cable, I would then try to reseat the SYCC card in the back of the UPS as well as the Main Intelligence Module in the front of the UPS. Before pulling the two modules I would put the UPS into Maintenance Bypass via the switch on the botton of the UPS labeled Maintenance bypass. After reseating both modules I would also try toggling the system enable switch on the rear of the UPS. Make sure you are still in maintenance bypass when you toggle the switch on the back as it will drop your load if you do not. If you still have problems after that, one of the 3 parts mentioned is faulty. The cable and SYCC would be the cheapest to replace. You may want to give support a call, in case you are in warranty as they can send you parts for free.
